Established for more than 10 years, Hanip Automobiles is an automotive workshop based in Singapore,

Company’s and Director’s History
Hanip Automobiles is established and owned by Hanip Abdul, a former Master Technician and Diagnostic
Specialist with years of experience in the automotive industry. Formerly from Borneo Motors where
he was in-charge of the Lexus team, Hanip has been sent on numerous trips to train as well as to compete
in Japan and achieved the highest status of a champion in the International Toyota Skill Contest twice.
As a passionate and dedicated automotive enthusiast, Hanip is always updated on latest automotive technologies
and trends. This is clearly reflected by the workshop’s array of high technology automotive equipments.
From the MasterTech Scantool, X431 Launch Scantool, Bosch ACS400 to the Automotive Transmission
Flush Machine and Toyota/Lexus Intelligent Scanner.
The workshop adheres strictly to the usage of genuine parts. A strong advocator for Toyota’s Use only Genuine
Toyota Parts Campaign, Hanip Automobiles was awarded the Best Achiever Award by the Borneo Motor Parts
Department.
In 2009, Hanip Automobiles relocated to AutoBay@Kaki Bukit where it is currently based. In 2010, Hanip
Automobiles was incorporated to Hanip Automobiles Pte Ltd and further expanded in size and services.
Apprenticeship at Borneo Motors 1984
Hanip had humble beginnings as a greaser in Borneo Motors(Leng Kee) where he first started work draining oil and greasing hinges.
A few weeks into the job, Hanip was made an apprentice after the manager spotted his potential.
Propelled by his passion for cars, Hanip persevered and was eventually promoted to mechanic and then to technician.
Pasir Gudang Racing Stint
His first overseas stint was to Pasir Gudang circuit. He was part of the crew which tunes, maintains and service the cars.
It was during this period when Hanip became more involved in the professional performance and tuning aspect of this industry.
Awarded certificate of excellence 1988, Borneo Motors Toyota Customer Care
After 4 years working with Borneo Motors, Hanip was made into a Service Advisor.
He was awarded the Certificate of Excellence for outstanding performance and customer care.
National Toyota Service Skill Contest Champion, April 1991
In 1991, Hanip was the Singapore champion in the National Toyota Service Skill Contest and was invited to Japan to receive his award.
He was also there to witness their National Toyota Service Skill Contest.
Upon his return, he was transferred to Borneo Motors(Ubi) as a Diagnostic Specialist.
Instructor Course Sept 25 - Oct 20 1995
During his time in Ubi, Hanip progressed to Master Technician.
He was selected to be sent for Instructorship course in Japan under AOTS (Association for Overseas Training Scholarship).
Upon completion of the course, he was transferred to Lexus as a Master Technician in-charge of the Lexus Team.
6th National Toyota Service Skill Contest Champion, April 1996
In 1996, Hanip emerged Champion in the National Service Skill Contest again and was sent to Japan.
In 1998, Hanip felt that he was ready for a bigger challenge albeit the reluctance to leave his stable post with a steady income at Borneo Motors.
With the blessings of his parents, Hanip ventured out and established Hanip Automobiles together, with part of the capital funded by his late-father.
